I'm a full-time journalist and a part-time teacher, currently leading a nine-week night course, called Investing for Beginners, at the University of Toronto's school of continuing studies.
If you can invest a few hours, please come to my evening workshop, called Financial Basics, at Ryerson University's Chang school of continuing education, on Wed., Oct. 20, at 5.30 pm.
I hope to share what I've learned about managing money and staying out of trouble, using an interactive presentation and book I developed with the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada and the Investor Education Fund.
This workshop is free of charge, thanks to support from Ryerson and the two government bodies.
