The site was launched in Sept. 2010 by Toronto Star Newspapers Limited, which also publishes The Toronto Star, and aims to be the online destination for Canadian readers interested in learning how to take charge of their financial affairs.
In addition to daily news updates, analysis, commentary and community, the site also offers how-to articles and DIY tools and calculators to help readers make informed decisions.
